Every holiday season, there are about 100 women living in the Street Haven programs. For the majority of these women, the only holiday festivities they will take part in, are the ones we provide. The holidays can be a very difficult time of year for women experiencing homelessness, as they reflect on seasons past, where they once were surrounded by loved ones. In light of this, the staff at Street Haven do their best to brighten the holidays for women living in our programs, so that they feel loved and not forgotten. The goal of this campaign, is to help raise money for gifts and a celebratory dinner for all the women who will be with us. Every year we try to provide women with a full holiday celebration including a dinner, entertainment and presents. A goal of $2500 works out to only $25 per woman that will be here at Street Haven throughout the holiday. Of course anything you are able to give is greatly appreciated. Please help us bring a little joy into the lives of the city's most vulnerable women.
